Our Church
House of Prayer (HOP) is a FAMILY of believers that are passionate about following Christ and loving people. This is a place to receive help, hope, and healing. We invite people of all races and walks of life to join our family and call this home.
We Believe
We base our belief on the whole Bible rightly divided. We accept the Bible as God's Holy Word, inspired, inerrant, and infallible. We use both the Old Testament and the New Testament as the foundation for our faith and the guide for our daily lives. We put those teachings into practice at home, at work, and wherever our feet may tread.
We Believe
We believe in the power of God's love, the divinity of Jesus Christ, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We believe that through faith and prayer, we can overcome any obstacle and live a life of purpose and meaning.
We believe that everyone can be Saved!! Salvation is accomplished through the work of the Holy Spirit by accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, and repenting of your sins with Godly sorrow. Repentance means not only being sorry for sin, but turning from and forsaking the old life for a new walk by faith in God.
We believe faith is more than religion. It’s about a relationship between a person and God. At House of Prayer, it is our desire to help you grow in your relationship with God through preaching and teaching the truth of God’s Word.
Our Mission
Just as Jesus said in the Beatitudes, blessed are the poor and the hungry, our mission is to love one another, and to spread the love of God everywhere!
Our Confession
And this is the confidence we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us; And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions we desired of hm. 1 John 5:14-15
